Peder Bergan represented the SITM chair and DU-IT GmbH at the NavVis summit in Munich, where he held a keynote presentation about the Smart City Duisburg. 

NavVis is an international company that develops indoor-mapping solutions. With their help, one can navigate through buildings more easily.

NavVis has a close cooperation with the Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbh (DVV) and have already provided indoor-mapping of a museum, a water plant and the DVV headquarters in Duisburg. In October, NavVis hosted a summit in their headquarters in Munich. Different speakers were invited who gave presentations on various topics. The partners presented use-cases and applications of NavVis.

Peder Bergan represented the Smart City Duisburg and their collaboration with NavVis. At the summit, he could not only present NavVis’s role in the Smart City program and learn about other applications of NavVis but could also establish valuable networks with other, international companies and start-ups that could become promising partners in the future.
