Prof. Ahlemann will be a member of the Program Committee for DESRIST 2016
Prof. Ahlemann accepted an invitation to act as a member of the program committee for the International Conference on Design Science Research in Information Systems and Technology (DESRIST) in 2016. As a committee member, Prof. Ahlemann will decide on the conference contributions and review submitted papers. DESRIST focuses on further research on the design science research (DSR) paradigm. The overall DSR goal is to create new innovative artifacts like constructs, models, methods, processes, design theories, and information systems in order to understand and solve specific organizational and individual problems. This year, the conference theme is “Tackling Society’s Grand Challenges with Design Science,” which focuses on “pressing societal challenges.” This includes issues like design applications in analytics and data science, healthcare, manufacturing, and environmental sustainability. The DESRIST 2016 will be held from May 24/25 at St. John’s, Canada. Further information can be found at: desrist2016.wordpress.com and www.desrist.org
