New Conference Papers: Designing the Organizational Reuse Environment AND Human Friendly Automation
The TM group presents two papers at the BPM Conference in Krakow - One on low-code reuse and one on human friendly automation.
We are pleased to announce the presentation of two new papers at the BPM Conference in Krakow. The BPM Conference, renowned for gathering leading experts and scholars from around the globe, provided a fantastic platform for sharing and discussing our research. We are very grateful to be a part of it and extend our sincere thanks to the organizers and all the other brilliant authors presenting at the conference.
- "Designing the Organizational Reuse Environment - Enabling Citizen Developers to Reuse Process Automation Artifacts" addresses the growing challenges associated with the reuse of automation artifacts in organizations, particularly as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and low-code approaches become increasingly prevalent. It outlines the challenges faced by low-code and citizen developers in reuse and offers design principles to address these issues.
“Human Friendly Automation: A literature review on the role of the human factor in AI-driven business process automation” explores the evolving role of humans in AI-driven business process automation. As BPM evolves with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI), the focus has shifted from rules-based automation to more cognitive automation of complex processes. This shift has significant implications for job roles, routines, and employee satisfaction.
We are very grateful for the opportunity to present the papers at the conference and want to thank the organisers, reviewers and those who attended.
