Gero Strobel and Tobias Brogt present papers at the 28th European Conference of Information Systems (ECIS)
At this year's European Conference of Information Systems our academic staff Gero Strobel and Tobias Brogt successfully presented their scientific articles.
Under the central theme "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity in a Digitizing World", this year's virtual ECIS from 15 - 17 June 2020 discusses the influences and effects of digital technologies on people as individuals, in organizations and in society.
In their jointly written paper "SERVICE SYSTEMS IN THE ERA OF THE INTERNET OF THINGS: A SMART SERVICE SYSTEM TAXONOMY" Gero Strobel and Tobias Brogt do research on the increasingly necessary transformation of service systems to smart service systems. In addition, Gero Strobel’s paper "AGRICULTURE IN THE ERA OF THE INTERNET OF THINGS: AN INFORMATION SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE FOR SMART AGRICULTURE" discusses the opportunities and possibilities of using intelligent products in agriculture and develops a generic information system architecture for their use.
