At this year's EMMSAD Conference in Leuven, Mario Nolte and Monika Kaczmarek-Heß were awarded the Best Paper Award for their paper "Enterprise Modeling in Support Of Transparency in the Design and Use of Software Systems". In the paper, the authors address how a broader understanding of transparency should be conceptualised that goes beyond oversimplistic understandings and to what extent enterprise modelling is suitable for implementing this broader understanding of transparency.
