Position: Research Assistant (f/m/d)
Location: PLACE BEYOND BYTES, University of Duisburg-Essen
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree completed and enrolled at a German university

Main Tasks:

• Support events for digital founders and aspiring entrepreneurs
• Collaborate on further development of PLACE BEYOND BYTES for start-up teams, often with partners from the start-up network
• Assist in building and maintaining a community of founders and entrepreneurship enthusiasts
• Help implement newsletters
• Create digital content (text, image, video) for social media (esp. Place Beyond Bytes & “Sustainable Innopreneurship M.Sc.”)

Your Profile:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Enrollment at a German university
• Good to very good English skills (German is a plus)
• Experience in event management and/or community building is a plus
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship
• Reliable, well-organized, independent, and committed

Additional Information:

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
• Working Hours: 10–15 hours per week (flexible)

Project: BUILDING BRIDGES – Digital platform for context-sensitive storytelling using AI
Eligibility: Completed Bachelor's degree and enrollment at a German university

Main Tasks:

• Support events for digital founders and aspiring entrepreneurs
• Create digital content (text, images, video) and manage social media channels (esp. Place Beyond Bytes & Innopreneurship)
• Collaborate on further development of PLACE BEYOND BYTES for start-up teams, often with partners from the start-up network

Your Profile:

• Completed Bachelor's degree (ideally in (business) computer science or other STEM fields)
• Enrollment at a German university
• Good to very good English skills (German is a plus)
• Experience with social media, image/video editing is an advantage (not mandatory)
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship
• Reliable, organized, independent, and committed
