Prof. Ahlemann accepted an invitation to act as a member of the program committee for the International Conference on Business information Systems (BIS) in 2016. As a part of the committee, Prof. Ahlemann will decide on the conference contributions and review submitted papers. BIS is an annual conference that focuses on research on the development, implementation, and application of business information systems. BIS was founded in 1997 and addresses a variety of topics like business processes in social contexts, future business services, and big data. The current conference theme comprises smart business ecosystems. The BIS 2016 will be held from July 06-08 at Leipzig, Germany.
