Representing the SITM chair and the Smart City Duisburg program, Peder Bergan held a Smart City Start-up workshop at the WestVisions event in Duisburg.

WestVisions is the premier event for the digital community in the west. It covers technology, business, art and society. This year’s fifth edition had the motto “New Vibes and Old values”. At the WestVisions event, important actors of the digital sector came together to exchange ideas and establish valuable networks. Amongst others, 46 Startup companies from a variety of countries attended the event.

Peder Bergan held a workshop to present the Smart City Duisburg in front of several startup companies. Many of them showed great interest in the smart city program and offered their collaboration. The chair will now collaborate closely with the city of Duisburg and the city-owned companies to identify suitable cooperation opportunities and to discuss potential partnerships.
