Call for Papers: 17th Science Forum Mobility on May 15th 2025
Since 2009, the Science Forum on Mobility at the University of Duisburg-Essen has served as an annual platform for rigorous discussion on evolving and interdisciplinary mobility research. We are excited to invite you to the 17th Science Forum on Mobility, set to take place on May 15, 2025.
Following 2024's exploration of increasing competition from tech and mobility service providers, the 2025 forum will address the theme "Solving Conflicts on the Way to Sustainable Mobility." This year, we will examine strategies for balancing economic, environmental, and social demands in mobility, including resolving conflicts between urban and rural needs and across generations.
The forum will feature five key tracks:
- Mobility Management – Sustainable mobility strategies, managing automotive and mobility firms
- Mobility Engineering – Sustainable technologies and modern mobility engineering
- Urban Mobility – Solutions for urban and rural mobility, sustainable last-mile logistics
- IT and Services for Mobility – IT infrastructure and service innovations for sustainable mobility
- Competition and Support for Mobility – Insights on international competition and sustainability benchmarks
Authors are encouraged to submit an abstract (max. 250 words) via the submission portal by January 31, 2025. Accepted papers may be published in a conference volume (SpringerGabler-Verlag, Wiesbaden). For additional information on topics, submission guidelines, and timelines, please refer to the document provided.
