Bio:

Frederik Ernst is part of the Process Innovation & Automation Lab (PIA Lab) at the Chair of Information Systems & Transformation Management, University of Duisburg-Essen. His work focuses on process automation, AI-supported workflows and the development of practical digital prototypes for research, teaching and transfer.

At the PIA Lab, he is involved in building automated demo environments based on ERPNext, and n8n, further developing the lab’s web presence, and supporting interactive workshop formats on APIs, AI and automation.
