Dr. Andreas Drechsler, post-doctoral researcher at the SITM chair, has been appointed the ISACA Academic Advocate for the University of Duisburg-Essen. The ISACA organization (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is an international organization of IT governance professionals, best known for maintaining the COBIT, RiskIT, and Val IT frameworks for IT management and governance. The ISACA Academic Advocate serves as a link between research, teaching, and practice in the areas of IT governance, IT risk management, and IT value management.
